The following are the rules of general conduct within The Dagger. The citizens are often a cantankerous lot, and the proprietors of the Dagger will not tolerate disrespectful behavior within their room. Test a Gorean's patience and you very well might find yourself thrown out upon your arse! Using a fair amount of common sense, knowledge of the Gorean philosophy, or a willingness to learn and grow within the philosophy, will offer you greater opportunity to enjoy the Gorean lifestyle!
The Dagger is a Gorean room. No elves, vampires, witches, knights (you get the idea) will be entertained. We at The Dagger do not subscribe to role play, therefore, come as yourself or find a more appropriate room.
If you are going to post a picture of yourself on your profile, post a real photo or sketch, not a fantasy picture. Especially, do not use a copyrighted picture.
Behave honorably. This is the way you will gain respect. The fact that you present yourself as Free does not qualify you as a Master or Mistress. Prove through your actions who you are.
One of the most common misunderstood issues surrounding online Gorean interaction is "online killings" and/or "assassinations". The Dagger does NOT subscribe to online killings and/or assassinations. If you have to wonder why, you are missing the point.
Another misunderstood issue involves "abusing" a slave. Slaves, by Gorean law, are animals, without rights, and thus, are not capable of being "abused". Respecting another Gorean's property is not a law, but rather a courtesy. Do not confuse respecting the slave with respecting the owner of said slave. When in doubt, message a Moderator for guidance.
If you have a question, or there is something that you are unsure of, ask a Moderator for assistance. Never assume anything which you are unsure of.
There is no such thing as a "forced collar". Any collaring that is not mutually consented to will not be recognized or tolerated by the Dagger. Slaves may not be forced into an alcove. Collared slaves may be taken into an alcove with permission of their owners.
Above all, be respectful and honorable to the other patrons. When in doubt, message a Moderator for assistance. Be Gorean, and enjoy all the culture has to offer!
IT IS UNWISE TO ASSUME ONE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ACCEPTED INTO THE DAGGER. YOUR ACTIONS WILL PROVE YOUR HONOR OR SLAVERY.
